Comfortable Rooms and Amenities

The College can accommodate up to 40 residential pilgrims. Guest rooms are located on the third floor, accessible by elevator, and provide a comfortable place to rest and prepare for each day. Rooms include:

  • Comfortable beds and storage space
  • A desk, chair, bedside table and lamp
  • A private sink and mirror
  • An ensuite shower and toilet
  • Towels and bed linen
  • Daily cleaning of bedrooms and bathrooms

A shared common room offers tea- and coffee-making facilities, along with a refrigerator for drinks and snacks. It is a relaxed space for conversation, music or a quiet beginning to the day.

Meals and Community

Meals are served in the Cathedral’s Pilgrim Guest House. The dining room offers a warm, traditional setting where pilgrims gather around the table and get to know one another.

The catering team prepares a mixture of local and international dishes, using fresh produce whenever possible. During warmer weather, the Guest House courtyard garden provides another inviting place to enjoy refreshments, conversation and time together.

Space to Rest, Reflect and Connect

Beyond the guest rooms, pilgrims can enjoy:

  • The Biblical Garden, which boasts tress, plants and flowers featured in the Bible
  • The gardens of the Cathedral Close
  • A peaceful chapel for private prayer
  • The Edmond and Patricia Browning Library
  • Comfortable common areas
  • An open-air roof terrace overlooking Jerusalem

The roof terrace is especially memorable at sunrise, with views towards the Mount of Olives.
